A.) A classic and still one of the most effective ways to draw away from the cyber world. Pull out a lighter and ignite the good o' campfire. Roasting hot dogs, marshmallows or bring a family recipe. While enjoying outdoor foods sing a song and tell a few stories. Who knows what could happen.
B.) Experiencing animals and insects that are around a child is a perfect way to bond with him and/or her. Create a scavenger hunt like game that the whole family will enjoy. Take photos and have fun learning new things. Unknown animals and insects could be researched, a fun way to learn. The photos are also a great thing to bring to other fellow schoolmates.
C.) The pool has also been another great way to relax and bond with people of all ages. Pool games such as Marco Polo and many numerous water games will excite all family members. However, be sure not to put safety aside. Never leave children unattended in non man-made water. This would help avoid dangers such as alligators, rip tides, and more.
